There is a nice trick in Outlook which allows you easy access to your personal Stationery folder by holding CTRL while clicking on the “Stationery and Fonts…” button in the Options dialog of Outlook.
Opening the personal Stationery folder
The personal Stationery folder can be found in the following (hidden) location:C:Users%username%AppDataRoamingMicrosoftStationery
As mentioned, you can also open it directly from within Outlook’s Options dialog in the following way:
- Outlook 2010, Outlook 2013 and Outlook 2016
File-> section Options-> section Mail-> hold CTRL while clicking on the button: Stationery and Fonts… - Outlook 2007
Tools-> Options…-> tab Mail Format-> hold CTRL while clicking on the button: Stationery and Fonts… - Outlook 2003 and previous
Tools-> Options…-> tab Mail Format-> hold CTRL while clicking on the button: Stationery Picker…
Hold CTRL when clicking on the “Stationery and Fonts” button to open the Stationery folder.
Copy all files into the Stationery folder
After that, simply copy your .htm or .html file of your stationery together with the images/background you have used for it into that folder and it should now be selectable as stationery in Outlook.
The name of your htm-file will be used as the display name for the Stationery in the Stationery Picker dialog.
